Funding boost for researchers

Evelina London has been awarded funding from the charity Duchenne UK for two new research posts.

It means that patients in London and the south east with Duchenne muscular dystrophy will have more opportunities to take part in clinical trials.

Meanwhile, three Guy’s and St Thomas’ clinicians have received Clinical Academic Research Partnership awards from the Medical Research Council. Dr Gaia Nebbia, Dr Peter Irving and Dr Dan Lumsden received research funding and support to work with other scientists.
