School run mum donates kidney to another parent

A father of three received a life-saving transplant thanks to the mother of his young son’s best friend.

Ravi Nihal was amazed when Katy Ludlow, a woman he hardly knew, offered to donate her kidney to him last year. Her son Tobias and Ravi’s son Jay are best friends who both attend the same primary school.

The Sun, Mail Online, Huffington Post, ITV Meridian, Sky News, BBC South East and BBC Radio Kent featured the heartwarming story.
