Mysteries of sleep revealed

The Sleep Disorders Centre at Guy’s and St Thomas’ was described as the country’s premier sleep clinic in a feature in the Daily Mail about people who live with extreme sleep conditions.

Dr Guy Leschziner, consultant neurologist and clinical lead of the Sleep Disorders Centre, was quoted stating everything from an individual’s psychological state to their environment, offer vital clues to the root of the problem.

The piece told the stories of patients involved in the More4 series, The Secrets of Sleep, which Dr Leschziner has featured in. He led a team that monitored, diagnosed and treated the patients, with the aim of transforming their lives.
