Video prize for researcher

A Guy’s and St Thomas’ researcher has won an award for a project to diagnose heart conditions in unborn babies.

The Research Impact Award provides the winner with £3,000 to make a film about their work. Dr David Lloyd won the award in an audience vote at the NIHR Clinical Research Network South London Annual Research Day.

Dr Lloyd says: “This project is the result of a huge team of people working together over the last few years. We want to tell the full story of what was involved in the research, including thanking the patients who volunteered.”
