Faster, safer, more effective care

Health and care organisations across south east London now have fast, safe access to electronic care records.

The Local Care Record and Connect Care systems have been linked – connecting 15,000 care professionals across six boroughs. Benefits for our patients include a reduction in delays for treatment and smoother transfers between services.

Supported by King’s Health Partners, the new system offers a secure way of sharing information electronically. Previously, patient information and care records were shared via traditional methods such as secure post, fax or email, which could be slow and unreliable.
