Groundbreaking trial shows promising results

ITV London News, The Sun and South London Press highlighted the story of Sam Short. The schoolboy took part in a groundbreaking trial at Evelina London to help him grow.

Sam has achondroplasia – a type of dwarfism – that means his bones don’t grow properly. But since having the treatment at Evelina London his growth rate has increased by 50%.

He’s now able to do things that he couldn’t do before. He completed a triathlon and raised £4,000 for the hospital as a thank you.
