Guy’s and St Thomas’ Maternity Services

Our maternity services provide a wide range of services from their main hospital sites as well as a large number of community sites across the boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark. The Maternity inpatient services are based on the St Thomas’ site with the majority of antenatal and postnatal care provided in the community setting.

The Maternity Service at St Thomas’ Hospital is one of the largest single site maternity units in London, with approximately 6,600 NHS births and 350 private births each year. We currently have capacity to accept referrals from all areas of London.

The list of services offered can be found in the maternity services brochure available to download here.

How to refer:

We encourage GPs to use Choose and Book to refer patients for maternity care.

Alternatively referrals can be made by completing the standard referral form on our website.

Women can also self refer to the antenatal clinic.

For further information please call the antenatal booking office on 020 7188 8002
